Gemini

Gemini is the sign of my birth, and I am very much the typical "air-head" in many respects.  I tend to live in my head a lot, which then tends toward neglecting the body - like the body is just an inconvenience because it's cumbersome and doesn't move fast enough.  That last part is definitely a Gemini trait, considering Mercury rules, although with Mercury and five other planets in retrograde when I was born (and my parents wondered why I was so damned backwards ;-) !), I have a need for speed.  At one time my nick-name was "Roadwitch", and at the time it fit quite well - considering my last name, and that I did at times act like a "witch on wheels".

I relate quite well to having the quick mind, and this sometimes causes me a problem, because I have too many things on the go at once - so procrastination on getting any one thing done is very likely to hinder progress.  I also tend toward the Jeckyl and Hyde thing - one minute I can be totally happy about something, and then if something else comes up to disturb the flow - watch out!!! (My doctor labelled it as being bi-polar - but she didn't have a clue about astrology, I'm sure).

On a deeper level, cosmically speaking (not comically, as some would have it ;-)), I embody the Mutability of the sign in a spiritual sense, particularly because I am a psychic channeler, which allows a whole other part of me to surface when connecting with my guides.  Being the consummate communicator, I tend to like to use flowery language at times, and run on sentences are something I have to edit much of the time, whether I'm speaking or writing.  I'll start with one thought to get things going, move to the next thought, and keep going until I probably lose anyone else who isn't a Gemini in the process.  If I don't stray too far off track, though, I can generally pick up the thread and relate the back end to the front end of the group of thoughts quite nicely.

I love being a Gemini - the Mercury "trickster" in me comes out quite well - I love catching people off guard, especially if they've thought they could get the better of me.  Just don't challenge me, because you will be up for the fight of your life if you do.  On the other hand, I don't think there's anything in life I crave more than peace, for myself and definitely for others.  Coming full circle on this last group of thoughts, though, the picture says it all - I was born with semi-blonde hair that darkened to a lighter brown with mousy red highlights.  I decided that I liked being blonde, though, and until I'm "silver" enough that the few darker hairs don't matter, I'll be blonde.  Vanity possibly!!! :)
