Gemstar : Star-Child Getting up early to help Fire The Grid

Getting up early to help Fire The Grid

Posted on Jul 17th, 2007 by Gemstar : Star-Child Gemstar
I am not, as a rule, an early riser.  I tend to be a bit of a night-owl, so getting up before 8:30am usually means I have to drive someone to work, or someone has actually persuaded me there is something better to do than sleep.

Firing The Grid Vortex
I've been waiting for this day for about a year now, ever since I read the story on the "Fire The Grid" web-site.  Although I tried a few times to connect with the people there, nothing ever came of it.  My usual reaction would have been - well, OK - if you don't need me, I'll just take my toys and go somewhere else.  BUT.....  something of the message always came back to me - maybe it was someone else writing about it (they, too, getting a large dose of spiritual enthusiasm from what was written), or something that came up in a meditation - all of a sudden remembering there was something important that I needed to do mid-July this year.

So, today I set my alarm for 7am.  Now, I didn't get to bed until the wee small hours, because I hadn't meditated all day yesterday - noisy construction just outside my door - so I still needed to do that before I could go to bed (bit of a creature of habit here - I OCD on meditation).  So getting up at 7am was, I supposed, going to be a challenge.

But it wasn't.  I brushed my teeth, walked around for a few minutes to make sure I was awake, and then I put on my favourite meditation CD, and sat down to meditate.  And as I settled, this rush of energy (which I usually don't get for at least several minutes into a meditation) just engulfed me.  I was just spinning inside this vortex of energy!

Now, was it expectation that I had built that did this, or was there something else?  Well, maybe a bit of both.  What I do know is for the next hour, I was "lead" through a serious of inner instructions (I hadn't planned to do anything except just sit in meditation) that had me sending love energy to every conceivable thing on the planet, and in the planet.  It was amazing!  I think I may have browned out a few times, because the energy was very intense, and it was like being pulled up through an electrically charged tube.  Then it just finished.  Right on the hour!  I sat there for a few minutes longer, contemplating what had just happened.

So, I'm hoping that others who read this, who also participated, will feel free to add their experiences to this blog, or start one of their own, and tell us about your experience of this event.  I know there were several people on Zaadz who had connected with this event.  Were you one of them?

Ms. Sheila,

Please see the Power of Light Pod, where we had many others here in Zaadsville doing the same thing.  I invite you to join the pod and you can post this there as well, along with others.

My wife and I arose early, as you did, and went outside to our garden area, surrounded with all our beautiful flowers.  We burned incense and Aley smudged.  Then we just sat in meditation, with wonderful music playing in the background.  Our little dog took turns sitting first in one lap, then the other.  Like you did, we created and sent Light and Love to just about everyone on the planet!!!!

Afterward, we made pancakes, as a fellow Zaadster suggested afterward we have a ”Fire the Griddle” … where we could all essentially break bread together.

Aley and I could feel the radiant energy that was very peaceful.  The whole experience was soothing and knowing millions of others on the planet were meditating along with made it an event we wouldn't have wanted to miss for anything.

Thank you for sharing your story with us all.

Sending you Light and Love,

K

I got a chuckle from that one, Fire the Griddle.

Well, I just found out about Fire the Grid two days before the event. I found the link to their site from another Zaadster and read the story, knowing I was going to participate.

I don't usually get up before seven, either. Usually, I hit snooze about five times. But on that day, I set the alarm for five am and got up before the alarm finished sounding. I just moved to my glider chair in the same room and put on my headphones for meditation. Boom. There was the energy, filling me up to the heart chakra right away and minutes later, to the third eye and above. It was the best.

I know this is way after the fact, but I too did participate and wrote about it on my blog as well as in the Living Metaphysics pod.  I did go and join the Power of Light pod because of reading this blog.  I know Helen well, John and Keith (only because of Aley) somewhat.  I am happy to lend my energy and will try to get back and read more soon.  It is currently a very hectic time in my life and the luxury of available extracuricular spiritual pursuits is limited.  Probably did not spell the ex word correctly, oh well.

All the best,

Deb

I hear you regards the available time for spiritual pursuits….. I probably spend way more time than I should surfing the net (and there doesn't seem to be any end to my insatiable appetite for joining new groups, either :-) ).  I appreciate that you have joined the Power of Light pod, and in what you do on Living Metaphysics, you are probably aligning to and sending light out with intention much more than you realize.  We all have our special ways of contributing.

Now that Keith has handed the “cultivation” of that pod over to me, I am considering making a few changes, that hopefully will encourage more participation, without necessarily changing the underlying “theme” of the pod.  The “stats” of the pod are deplorable, though, and it may be a tough slog to get it active again.

Then again, after the “survey” we had today on Zaadz, I'm expecting that many people may just give up and go elsewhere, which would be a shame.  Response has been mixed on the “Gaia” pod. From the numbers of people who are members of “P of L”, who signed up and seemingly disappeared, I've found many of them haven't even been on Zaadz territory (looking at their profiles) for a couple of months now, since the sale to Gaiam.
